Vivo is launching the X300 series in India on December 2. The series includes the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. Both models target photography and flagship performance. The company has confirmed the chipset, camera tech, software, colours, and a photographer kit.

Design, Colours & Software Overview

The X300 series runs on MediaTek Dimensity 9500. Both phones include the V3+ imaging chip. Vivo ships Android 16 layered with OriginOS 6. The software aims to deliver refined camera controls and smoother animations. Colour choices differentiate the models. X300 arrives in Summit Red, Mist Blue and Phantom Black. X300 Pro is available in Dune Brown and Phantom Black.

Camera Hardware & Imaging Features

Vivo X300 pairs a 200MP Zeiss-tuned main sensor with a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP periscope telephoto. X300 Pro reverses that logic with a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor plus a 50MP ultra wide and a 200MP periscope. Both phones feature a 50MP front camera. Vivo adds a 2.35x Telephoto Extender that works with both models. Zeiss optics promise cleaner colours and reduced flare.

Display and battery figures look strong. The standard X300 offers a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and slim 1.05mm bezels. X300 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO AMOLED display. Battery sizes reportedly land at 6040 mAh for X300 and 6510 mAh for the Pro model. Both phones support 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

Performance targets sit at flagship levels. RAM will scale up to 16GB LPDDR5X and storage up to 1TB UFS 4.1. The Dimensity 9500 should handle heavy gaming and multitasking. Vivo also markets advanced video and photo processing thanks to V3+ imaging hardware.

Vivo will sell a Photographer Kit alongside the phones in India. The kit aims to attract photo enthusiasts and creators. Market watchers expect premium pricing given the hardware and Zeiss collaboration. The December 2 event will confirm local prices and sale plans.
