Vivo is preparing to launch its most anticipated X300 series in China on October 13, unveiling two models: X300 and X300 Pro. The upcoming series is already making waves through rumored camera improvements and a significant software shift.

When Will the Vivo X300 India Launch Happen?

Although Vivo has announced the October 13 release in China, there is no confirmation regarding the release in India yet. Still, industry experts predict that the latest lineup will reach the Indian market by the end of 2025.

Unlike previous Vivo flagships that were shipped with FunTouch OS, the new phones will arrive in India, integrating Android 16-based Origin OS 6. This marks a significant shift in the company’s software approach. Vivo already rebranded its official FunTouch OS X page to Origin OS, marking the transition.

What’s New in the Design and Build?

The Vivo X300 series will be available in black and Silver color options. It has also been confirmed that a Zeiss 2.35x telephoto converter will be included, enhancing zoom photography.

Industry insiders suggest that a revamped flat-screen design and a Dynamic Island-style cutout will also be included, similar to what Apple introduced with its iPhone 17 Pro series.

What Drives Vivo X300 Pro?

The high-end Vivo X300 Pro 5G is rumored to be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is expected to bring significant improvements in overall performance and AI-based tasks.

The model may be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, making it a smart choice for content creators and multitaskers. A 7000mAh battery is also in the cards, which would place the model among the highest capacities in the premium space.

How Sophisticated is the Camera System?

Cameras once again will be Vivo’s prime attraction. The X300 Pro is likely to feature a ZEISS-optimized triple-camera setup, including a new 200MP APO periscope telephoto sensor.

The model might incorporate Vivo’s internal VS1 and V3+ imaging processors for enhanced processing. Video capabilities might include 4K at 120fps recording, Dolby Vision HDR, and 10-bit Log recording, setting the mobile videography bar high.

Vivo X300 Pricing

Leaks indicate that Vivo X300 might be launched in India at a price of approximately Rs 69,999, with X300 Pro priced around Rs 99,999. This would pit the series against Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro series.

The countdown has already started as fans and tech enthusiasts are waiting to see if X300 and its variants dominate the flagship segment. Vivo’s combination of a big battery and AI-driven performance might just create a new benchmark in the market.
