Grand Theft Auto 6 appears to have suffered another leak. This time, a major leak with two alleged gameplay videos and an image claiming to show the game’s full map is circulating online.

The leaked footage reportedly shows protagonist Jason in two separate situations. One clip shows him playing basketball outside his home, while another shows him driving and attacking a non-player character. The map image has also attracted attention online.

The authenticity of the material has not been independently confirmed. It is also unclear when the footage was recorded or how the assets surfaced.

CyberLeek Claims Raise Wider Questions

The leaked material has been linked to a website and cryptocurrency associated with a group calling itself CyberLeek. The group has published a manifesto directed at Rockstar Games and other major publishers.

It demands focus on concerns surrounding the industry's shift towards digital distribution. The manifesto criticizes digital preorders, what it describes as ‘fake’ single-player downloadable content and the removal of single-player content that customers have already purchased.

The group also targets the lack of a physical disc for GTA 6. It refers to Ubisoft’s The Crew, which became a major issue for the Stop Killing Games campaign after the game was taken offline and became unplayable. CyberLeek warned other publishers that they could become future targets. Its website claims that reaching Rockstar demonstrates that other major companies could also be vulnerable.

Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive have not publicly confirmed the leak. Reports suggest efforts are underway to remove copies of the videos from social media. IGN has sought comment from both companies. The cryptocurrency promoted alongside the material has also attracted significant attention. Online users have raised concerns that it could be linked to a scam.

What’s Next

The reported leak comes shortly before Rockstar’s planned extended look at GTA 6. The presentation is scheduled to debut on Netflix on August 27 and will remain exclusive to the service for six hours before appearing on other platforms, including YouTube.

GTA 6 has faced several major leaks since development began. In 2022, more than 90 videos and images from an early build were released online after a hacking incident. Rockstar later faced another leak in December 2023, when its first trailer appeared online before the official premiere.

Rockstar also confirmed in April that a limited amount of non-material company information had been accessed during a third-party data breach. The company said the incident had no impact on its organization or players. GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on November 19, 2026.
