Wednesday Season 2 premieres in two parts on Netflix. Part 1 releases on August 6 and Part 2 on September 3.
New cast members join the chaos, including Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, and Lady Gaga as a mysterious teacher.
Expect deeper family drama and darker mysteries as Wednesday faces unexpected threats and twisted school secrets.
After making waves across the world with her deadpan charm, Wednesday Addams is returning to Nevermore Academy, and this time, the halls are darker, louder, and far less predictable. Netflix has officially announced the return of Wednesday for a second season, and everything from fresh cast additions to deeper family conflicts promises a chillingly exciting ride.
The new season will roll out in two parts:
Part 1 drops August 6
Part 2 follows on September 3
Both will stream exclusively on Netflix, with Tim Burton once again guiding the visual madness.
Season 2 begins with Wednesday back at Nevermore, but this time she walks in by choice, or so she thinks. Within moments, that illusion shatters. Nothing is familiar. Old enemies return. New dangers rise. And her family? They’re not staying away anymore.
Expect clashes, literal sword fights, and another twisted mystery wrapped in dark humor. Wednesday’s life gets messier when her younger brother, Pugsley, now with electrokinesis, enrolls at Nevermore. The Addams parents, Gomez and Morticia, are seen more often on campus, much to her dismay.
Even Wednesday’s sharp instincts are tested as the line between personal and paranormal blurs beyond recognition.

Filming took place in Ireland, bringing a foggy, timeless backdrop to Nevermore’s new arc. The production team calls it a “magical” setting, adding myth and visual depth to Wednesday’s world.
This season leans heavily into family dynamics, and not the kind you'd want to join. Wednesday’s complicated bond with Morticia intensifies, especially as fencing swords come out. Meanwhile, Grandmama’s arrival offers a rare glimpse into the softer side of Wednesday.
What begins as the start of another academic year quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. Inside Nevermore’s gates, shadows linger. Outside them, danger creeps closer. Wednesday faces a maze of haunted legacies, cryptic faculty, and eerie discoveries that point toward something sinister beneath the surface. Hints of a reunion between Wednesday and Tyler, who remains locked away in an asylum, only confirm that some chapters refuse to close.
Season 2 isn’t just about returning to Nevermore. It’s about tearing down what Wednesday thought she knew. With new threats, sharper conflicts, and a cast packed with talent, this chapter promises more chaos, more blood, and more unexpected warmth than anyone, even Wednesday, might be ready for. The Addams world is expanding, and it’s never been more fun to feel a little scared.
