YajanTech is an Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) integrated provider. The company is not only dedicated to providing clients the befitting products based on creating the best UI experience for users with experience value but trying to drive multiple applications of industries and advance people’s daily life around the world via YajanTech’s AR image and facial recognition technologies.
The company also focuses on face and limbs recognition technology design. YajanTech provides the face SDK (Software Develop Kit) to its clients to design their own face recognition system and deploy the technology support; then use the on-factory check-in and security protection.
The company was founded in August 2015 and focuses on software development. As the SDK (Software Develop Kit) designer, YajanTech holds domain knowledge in image processing, image stitching, image recognition, and image tracking. There are 4 big functions of SDK and people can perform face check and AR animation through the kit. The company claims, it is very hard to design a system and very hard to let the client know what is SDK. So YajanTech does much for that like it designs more applications by SDK to prove the power of software engine. Finally, YajanTech has partnered with leading companies like NTT communication, GMO internet in Japan and they use the engine to design very good productions.
A Skillful Leadership
James Tsai is the CEO of YajanTech. He is an engineer who designed the APP and Kernel software when he started to work. He previously worked with Foxconn, ITRI in Taiwan and later founded YajanTech. James is extremely proficient at software design and business plan design. The company co-works with the indicative company in Japan and Taiwan to make the AR and image process business connection to be connected.
Redefining Factory Operations with Image Processing
According to James, as the case, YajaTech is a design on the factory. The company uses the face SDK to design the recognition by camera and AR training by taking the AR glasses. In the factory, there are many features YajanTech can do by image processing. To recognize the defect of production, production dust, the step of training, face detection, even the dashboard of the factory shows all the information on screen and on AR glasses. To make the effect better, the company does AI training like face training to enable the SDK to know everybody. So the AR+AI+Image process can’t be separated.
Making Space for Innovation to Flourish
YajanTech drives innovation by designing 10% time off work to let employers think more and create ideas. Everyone can use the time to try error, think crazy, even learn something beyond their work. With those effects, according to James, YajanTech can create new productions every year and make the company grow fast.
Leveraging AI/ML for Better Production
James says, “Actually every day we face the issue of software design. Without AI, ML we can design software, but it is needed to make the production better than yesterday.” YajaTech implements AI and ML to its productions, and collects the face data on AR glasses, try-on production and uses the face points to make the AR tracking skill powerful than before. Also, YajanTech uses data to offer smart suggestion to help customers know which glasses are suitable for them.
Invaluable Global Recognition
YajanTech provides an SDK that is a crossed-platform engine. If clients use the SDK to design, it can work on mobile, PC, Kiosk and AR glasses. The kit can significantly save the development time and maintenance efforts by using it.
The company has achieved several awards including:
• Slush Singapore – Best MVP 2016
• APAC Global Impact Challenge 2017
• APICTA Awards 2019
Determining the Future of Image Recognition
Different businesses such as textile, retail, factory, warehouse, all of them need AI and image recognition to help people reduce effort. The eyes of people will be tired if they work for a long time, but machines will not. So YajanTech still develops the base technology for image recognition to help its clients do more. “Some of the clients may not need AI because the flow in which they are working is smooth. However, as the old employees will leave and new ones would not be easy to train, the feature will come into being as soon as possible,” says James.
