Q

Please give us a brief overview of your professional journey and your current role in product management and digital transformation.

A

My professional journey has centered around helping organizations transform and scale digitally through tech-driven product innovation across healthcare, finance, and supply chain domains. I have led and delivered enterprise-scale digital solutions by utilizing product thinking to align business goals and user needs. Today, my work focuses on transforming finance and supply chain enterprise planning capabilities.

Q

Over the past nine years working across healthcare, finance, and technology sectors, what experiences or achievements have had the greatest impact on your growth as a technology and product leader?

A

Delivering value at high stakes, regulated environments, while navigating through uncertainties has shaped my leadership journey the most. For instance, I have led teams through a global pandemic working in healthcare while still staying focused on operational and business priorities.

It wasn’t easy, but I believe that was a time when I grew the most as a leader.

Q

You have expertise in platforms like Anaplan, Workday, SAP, and Epic. How have these experiences helped shape your approach toward enterprise product strategy and operational excellence?

A

These platform implementations range from performance management to resource planning to clinical operations - all of which offer slightly different perspectives on operational excellence, but the same ideology that any successful technology implementation will only provide maximum value when you can pair business goals with user needs to solve real user problems.

Q

As an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner, what leadership qualities do you believe are essential for modern product and technology leaders in today’s fast-changing digital ecosystem?

A

The most important is Product Thinking. If you are not obsessed with solving real user problems when designing technology solutions, your business will not sustain in the long term. Additionally, modern product leaders should not only have tech and AI acumen but also have strategic clarity, be resilient, and show empathy. These skills will make change management something to look forward to.

Q

How do you leverage design thinking, Agile methodologies, and customer-centric strategies to build products and solutions that align with evolving business and user needs?

A

All these go hand-in-hand - design thinking helps you to understand the user and stakeholder problems better, Agile helps you to rapidly iterate and validate assumptions, and being customer- centric helps you to stay aligned with user expectations and incorporate any vital feedback in the next iteration to deliver value.

Q

Having worked across multiple industries, how has your leadership style evolved over the years and what role does collaboration play in driving successful digital transformation projects?

A

I consider Product Management a team sport where every stakeholder involved plays a crucial role for a successful go-live. As product leaders, we need to encourage diverse perspectives across the teams we work with and be there for them when things may not go right the first time. This helps build trust, create transparency, and make collaboration more effective.

Q

As a member of the Senior Advisory Board of the IA Forum, what are your views on the future of enterprise technology, digital healthcare systems, and intelligent automation?

A

Intelligent automation is already redefining healthcare enterprise agility, and I expect this to continue and become more fine-tuned. From predictive analytics to agentic decision making with human-in-the-loop - care will become more connected, and patient outcomes should improve moving forward with better decision-making. I also expect physicians and other clinical professionals who may be wary of AI and IA capabilities now will become more receptive, so that they can spend more time with the patients and less time doing manual paperwork.

Q

What advice would you like to share with aspiring product managers, technology leaders, and professionals looking to build a successful career in digital transformation and enterprise innovation?

A

Stay relevant and adaptable in the market by upskilling. The professionals who will thrive in the future are the ones who stay curious and keep building. Markets shift quickly, especially with AI and digital transformation are reshaping every industry, so continuous learning is essential. I always encourage aspiring product leaders to go beyond theory and create a portfolio of real work. Build products, solve real problems, experiment with ideas, and document your thinking. Degrees and certifications provide a foundation, but what truly differentiates you is demonstrated impact and hands-on experience.
