Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch in the later part of February. Early reports point to camera, performance, and AI-focused upgrades, though official details remain under wraps. Samsung will also launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26, according to recent leaks.
Samsung is yet to officially announce the dates of the Galaxy S26 Ultra release, but rumors from retailers and the supply chain established the notion of it in late February.
According to the leaks, February 25 (Wednesday) could be the date for the launch, followed by the reveal of Samsung’s three new smartphones. The event is expected to also unveil the Galaxy Buds4 true wireless earbuds.
Samsung’s Gulf team has already started the promotion for Galaxy Unpacked. The campaign asks the community a simple question… “What will the next Unpacked event reveal?” before nudging them with a “comment as much as you can using #GalaxyUnpacked,” with fans posting on social media with a hashtag #GalaxyUnpacked. The promotion runs until April 10.
Following the Galaxy Unpacked event, the terms and conditions found on the Samsung website reveals the follow-up challenge will be “share with us their favourite feature about the new devices.”
Following are the key expected specifications
6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display
Peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits
5,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging
Quad rear camera setup led by a 200MP main sensor
The Galaxy S26 family will feature OneUI 8.5, which is currently in public beta, with stable builds available for developers and adventurous consumers.
Samsung has removed the 128 GB storage options across its portfolio. There are questions about Samsung’s “double storage” offer. With the rising price of memory and storage, this would be relatively more expensive for the Galaxy S26 family than the S25 models.
The 256GB variant is expected to be priced near EUR 1,469/ $1,741. The leaks did not reveal any price for the 512 GB and 1 TB variants, which will be higher. The company might justify the prices with increased base storage, improved internals, and AI-driven software features.
Pre-orders will not open during the keynote. This may happen at a fixed time around the world, but it is more likely to be staggered across the countries. Previous Galaxy S releases have come with pre-order options, typically including boosted trade-in values and free subscriptions to online services such as Google’s Gemini AI Pro.

The location of the launch event is also under wraps. Analysts are predicting it will be held in San Francisco, allowing Samsung to update Galaxy AI right next to Silicon Valley to ensure an explosive growth in generative AI.
Samsung is likely to position the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a benchmark device in the premium smartphone segment. Now, all eyes will be on how it stacks up against growing competition when the model finally arrives.
