Realme has introduced the Buds Air 8 Pro in India along with the Realme 16T 5G and the Realme Watch S5. The new earbuds come with stronger active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and support for high-quality wireless audio. The company is trying to bring premium-level features to users without pushing the price too high.
Wireless earbuds are no longer only for music. People now use them during work calls, travel, gaming, movies, and workouts. Thus, brands are adding better sound, cleaner voice quality, and improved comfort even in mid-range products. Buds Air 8 Pro continues that trend. Realme has focused on sound quality, battery life, and everyday usability with this launch.
Realme has priced the Buds Air 8 Pro at around Rs. 6,999 in India. However, the launch offer will reduce the price to Rs 6,699 with a sharp Rs. 300 discount. This offer will continue until June 5th, 11:59 PM.
Users can purchase the earbuds through the Realme website, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, and offline retail stores. Though not disclosed, buyers may also get bank discounts for a limited period. The earbuds will be available in Master Black and Master White, with a clean stem-style design and soft silicone ear tips for a more comfortable fit.
One of the biggest highlights is the 55dB active noise cancellation support. The earbuds are designed to reduce outside sound during travel or crowded surroundings. Realme has also included spatial audio support and dual-device connection features.
For audio, the Buds Air 8 Pro supports high-resolution wireless sound. The most interesting part is up to 12 hours of playback on the earbuds alone and up to 50 hours with the case. However, that is applicable when the ANC is disabled.
Buds Air 8 Pro also supports LHDC 5.0 audio technology. This feature primarily benefits Android users seeking better Bluetooth audio quality. LHDC 5.0 enables more audio data to be transmitted wirelessly between the phone and the earbuds. That’s why, with earbuds, music may sound clearer and more detailed than standard Bluetooth audio. Earlier, features like this were mostly seen in expensive flagship earbuds. Now, brands are slowly bringing them into lower price ranges as competition in the audio market intensifies.

The wireless audio market is changing quickly. Nowadays, buyers don’t just look for basic features; they want ANC, spatial audio, long battery life, and high-resolution support in almost every other pair of earbuds, regardless of price.
Realme’s latest earbuds show how affordable products are slowly converging with premium flagship audio devices. While high-end earbuds still offer better tuning and ecosystem features, the gap is no longer as large as before.
