Pokémon GO Adventure Week 2025 is all set to take trainers on a journey through a spectrum of new content, welcome bonuses, and rare Gen IX Pokémon! This global event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. local time on July 29 to 8:00 p.m. local time on August 3.
When catching any Pokémon during this event, a player receives double XP, making it the best time to level up. Regular incense has also increased to two hours, making Pokémon appear four times more often than usual during Adventure Week.
Players can buy an Adventure Week Ultra Ticket Box for US$1.99. The ticket secures entry to the event plus three bonus Max Potions.
Adventure Week marks the first appearance of a pair of Gen 9 Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Toedscool, the Woodear Pokémon, is seen only in forests and grassy biomes, and it evolves into Toedscruel for 50 candies. Shiny Wiglett debuts with a gleaming blue body and golden nose, evolving into a riot of colors in Shiny Wugtrio.
Adventure Week brings biome-based spawns, and exploring different areas is key:
Cities: Snubbull, Trubbish, Elgyem, Sizzlipede.
Forests/Grasslands: Skwovet, Smoliv, Fidough, Tadbulb, and Toedscool.
Mountains: Hippopotas, Drilbur, Rufflet.
Timed and Field Research tasks focus on rock-type Pokémon, rewarding Stardust, Rare Candy, and exclusive encounters.
Shiny Wiglett appears in the wild - and in raids - giving players multiple chances to catch it in its shiny form.
This event also offers both free and paid Timed Research for Trainers. The free version includes tasks like spinning PokéStops and catching Pokémon, rewarding players with items.
Adventure Week introduces a diverse range of Pokémon spawns across various biomes. Incense could be used to increase the encountering rate with Lucky Eggs activated at peak times for Double XP.
Research tasks should be completed well before they expire on August 3. The paid ticket, meanwhile, presents additional rewards in terms of rare Pokémon and valuable items.
