This AI Pokemon Generator Makes George Bush Pokemon and More

This AI Pokemon generator can convert everything and anything into a caricature and it doesn't need prompt training

Pokeman fantasy from the Pokemon Chronicle series seems to have taken an unrelenting turn. If you are someone who grew up watching Pokemon and now want to embrace it in your definite style, here is an AI Pokemon generator in the dock. Justin Pinkney, from Replicate Labs, developed the bot to take any word as an input to generate a relatable Pokemon. Anything and everything will take the form of a Pokemon, including your very old President or say, a random name. The AI makes George Bush Pokemon and also can whip out a caricature of something like 'Rock Paper Shotgun', a video game website. Irrespective of personal fantasies – the obsession to imagine oneself as good or bad characters from a fairy tale – this new Pokemon generator can make all sorts of fake Pokemon. Enter your name into it and lo you will have a Selfie-Pokemon, though that doesn't look like you unless you are a celebrity. You can try it here for having a weird and adventurous graphical experience and don't be surprised if the words you type come back to you as a quirk or scary surprise. If not satisfied with the experience go on to Twitter where people are crushing over it, with nonsensical and tickling inputs to fiddle with the AI Pokemon generator. For more fun, you can choose "4" from the "num_outputs" drop-down menu to get four images per prompt rather than just one.

Justin Pinkney, a machine learning researcher, who has the credit for building many other visual AI tools and resources, developed this fun little tool all by finetuning the much larger AI art generator, Stable Diffusion. While other AI art generators like DALL-E and Midjourney are limited versions, this AI bot is open-sourced. "Looks like my Pokemon generator is getting some attention. Lots of interesting examples in the replies to this. It's curious how much it likes to generate the circular Pokemon", Pinkney tweeted. For all curious Pokemon lovers and aspiring caricaturists, his quick guide available on GitHub will be of great help. Elaborating on the model and the technique, he says, "Stable Diffusion is a great generalist model, but getting a certain style of output is pretty tricky, it usually needs some serious prompt engineering. Fine-tuning the model itself is an easy approach to focus on just what you want if you have some data." According to sources, he had to train the model on BLIP captioned Pokemon images with two NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs on the Lambda GPU for around 15,000 steps. Having done away with prompt training, this AI lets you have only fun and not sweat for generating the Pokemon of your choice – including that of celebrities that other artificial intelligence generators have locked up.

The Pokemon franchise is gigantic enough to deliver unique Pokemon avatars every other time and the sheer number of Pokemons that are released makes us wonder if ever this company would go out of ideas. Now that a new Pokemon-generating bot is out it remains an absurd thought.
