The premium smart ring segment in India has a new entrant. Finnish wearable maker Oura has officially launched the Oura Ring 4, bringing its advanced sleep-tracking and health analytics platform to the country. Positioned as a discreet alternative to smartwatches, the new device focuses on recovery, readiness, and long-term wellness monitoring.
The pricing for the Oura Ring 4 starts at Rs. 28,900 for standard materials such as Black and Silver. The premium materials, such as Gold and Rose Gold, will cost up to Rs. 39,900. The device will be available for purchase through all online stores and select offline stores starting mid-March.
The company also offers a membership service for users. The cost of the membership service is around Rs. 599 per month. The service offers more in-depth information and health trends.
Oura Ring is made of lightweight titanium. The ring is designed for all-day and overnight wear. The ring is water-resistant up to 100 meters. The ring also comes in various sizes for more accurate readings.
The ring tracks more than 50 health metrics. The health metrics include heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration, temperature trends, and blood oxygen levels. The ring also uses multi-wavelength optical and motion-tracking data to monitor activity, readiness, and sleep.
The ring has an eight-day battery life.

In conjunction with this launch, Oura also shared its latest sleep data trends. Oura observes an increasing trend among Indians toward relying on data-driven decisions for wellness. Among these, sleep quality is also an emerging trend.
People are also relying on sleep stages, recovery patterns, and even stress levels to enhance their productivity and fitness routines. Consistency in sleep schedules and awareness of lifestyle factors, such as caffeine and screen time before sleep, have been major behavioral patterns.
Smart rings are gaining popularity among consumers who are looking for smart wearables with continuous health monitoring. As consumers become more aware of sleep patterns and recovery, Oura’s latest smart ring, the Oura Ring 4, signals that the wearable market in India is evolving towards sleep quality and overall health intelligence.
