Apple’s latest iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are showing longer delivery timelines just days after pre-orders opened. While the first customers are still expected to receive their phones on September 18, buyers placing orders now may have to wait until October, depending on the model and market.
Apple’s India online store currently shows a September 29 to October 6 delivery window for the iPhone 18 Pro across all color options and storage variants.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max has a longer delivery time. The estimated delivery period in India is October 6 to October 11. Therefore, buyers ordering the Pro Max will need to wait close to a month from the launch date, September 18, to receive the handset.
The first batch of preorder buyers will still receive the iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max on September 18.
The situation is similar in the US, although the delivery windows differ slightly between the two models.
The iPhone 18 Pro currently shows an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6. For the iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple’s online store lists October 6 to October 13. These estimates apply across all available colors and storage configurations.
In several regions, the smaller iPhone 18 Pro has a relatively shorter wait. However, customers ordering it now could still receive their handset in October, depending on the final date within Apple’s estimated delivery window.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB versions.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,64,900, whereas the iPhone 18 Pro Max is available at Rs. 1,79,900. These two variants are available in Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, and Black.
The iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.30-inch display, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 6.90-inch display. Apple A20 Pro chip drives both of these phones, which run on iOS 27.
