The latest information claims Apple is testing two battery sizes for the iPhone 18 Pro. For the Physical SIM model, the tech giant will allocate a 4,056mAh battery, while for the e-SIM models, the battery power will be somewhere around 4,288mAh. So, basically, the models launched in the US market will have larger batteries than those in other markets.
It is not unusual for phone makers to release small hardware variations in different regions. The exact reason behind Apple’s reported battery split remains unclear for now. Additionally, leaks reveal that the model will pack an A20 Pro processor. Moreover, it will feature a triple 48-megapixel rear camera setup.
These changes may not be visible from the outside, but they often play a big role in daily battery performance. However, those additions could increase power demands, making battery improvements more necessary than optional.
