Apple’s next-generation iPhone lineup is still months away, but leaks surrounding the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series have already started surfacing online. From pricing details to design changes and display upgrades, early reports suggest Apple may focus on refinement rather than a complete overhaul this year.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to headline Apple’s September launch event, possibly alongside the company’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone.
The price of the iPhone 18 Pro series could remain the same in the United States despite the continued supply chain challenges and increased cost of parts.
Apple may cover the extra costs without charging users. If the leaks turn are true, the base price of iPhone 18 Pro could be $1,099, while iPhone 18 Pro Max may be tagged at $1,199.
Indian users may face an increase in the prices since iPhone 17e’s cost had edged higher in India despite remaining unchanged in the US.
The launch of the iPhone 18 Pro series will most definitely happen at Apple's yearly September hardware event. iPhone 18 will not be launched this year along with the rest of the Pro range; this would be a departure from previous years.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are instead expected to arrive with a new foldable iPhone, reportedly referred to internally as the iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra.
According to industry reports, CEO Tim Cook might reduce his involvement in the keynote address, as Apple executive John Ternus is set to play an expanded role prior to the September leadership change.
Apple will likely retain the display dimensions from the previous line-up. This means that iPhone 18 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display, whereas Pro Max can include a 6.9-inch display.
The biggest visible upgrade may come through a smaller Dynamic Island. Leaks suggest Apple is moving more Face ID hardware beneath the display, allowing the cutout area to shrink significantly. The company may also introduce improved LTPO+ display technology to improve power efficiency and battery performance.

Dummy units circulating online suggest the iPhone 18 Pro lineup may maintain a design language similar to its predecessor. The biggest hardware change appears to be a slightly larger rear camera module. Apple is also rumored to be testing four new color finishes for the Pro models: Dark Cherry, Blue, Dark Grey and Silver.
