Google could soon bring its screenless Fitbit Air fitness tracker to India. The company has already confirmed that the wearable will launch in the country in October, while a fresh leak now points to October 2 as the possible launch date. The date has not been officially confirmed by Google yet.
A recent post by tipster Sanju Choudhary claims that the Fitbit Air could be launched in India on October 2. A separate Flipkart listing has also reportedly revealed a price of Rs. 13,999, giving potential buyers an early indication of what the device could cost.
The Fitbit Air could be priced at around Rs. 13,999 in India, according to the reported Flipkart listing. Another leak suggested a price range of Rs. 12,999 to Rs. 13,999. The tracker currently starts at USD 99.99 in the US, while the special-edition version costs more. The Indian pricing could therefore differ from the US price after local taxes and other costs.

The Fitbit Air takes a different approach from conventional fitness bands by removing the display. Instead, the device relies on sensors, vibration alerts, and the companion Google Health app to deliver health and fitness information.
The tracker weighs about 5.2 grams without the band and offers up to seven days of battery life. It features an optical heart-rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, a skin-temperature sensor, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope. The wearable also has 5 ATM water resistance and uses magnetic charging.

The Fitbit Air is designed for continuous monitoring, including 24-hour heart-rate tracking, sleep monitoring, heart-rate variability, readiness scores and activity tracking. It can automatically recognize workouts and supports more than 140 activities, according to Google's specifications.
The device works with Google's redesigned Health app, where users can view their fitness and health information. Google Health Coach is also part of the broader Fitbit ecosystem, offering personalized fitness, recovery, and sleep guidance. Basic health tracking does not require a subscription, while premium features are offered through Google Health Premium.
