Google has confirmed the FitBit Air India launch for October 2026, bringing its new fitness tracker to India. The device has no screen and focuses on health tracking throughout the day. Google announced the India launch after introducing the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5. The tracker records health data and shows results through the Google Health app.
The Google FitBit Air weighs 12 grams with its band and supports 24 hour health tracking. It checks heart rate, heart rhythm, AFib alerts, blood oxygen, HRV, sleep and workouts. The tracker can also identify more than 140 activities automatically during daily exercise.
Google describes FitBit Air as “simple, affordable and comfortable enough to wear 24/7.” The company says the device can track health without adding another screen to the wrist.
The screenless design also helps FitBit Air offer up to seven days of battery life. A five minute charge can provide enough power for around one day. This makes overnight sleep tracking easier without frequent charging.
FitBit Air works with the Google Health app for health data and fitness reports. Google Health Coach also brings AI based workout plans, recovery tips and sleep guidance. Basic health tracking does not require a paid subscription.
The FitBit Air price in India remains unknown at this time. The global price started at $99.99, while Google has not confirmed Indian pricing. The exact launch date, colors and sales channels also remain unclear.
FitBit Air supports Android 11 or newer and iOS 16.4 or newer. A Google Account and Google Health app are required for setup. The October launch could give Google a strong new option for people seeking simple health tracking without a smartwatch screen.
