Andrew Tate-linked meme coin DADDY fell more than 26% in under two days following Andrew and Tristan Tate’s July 18 arrest in the United States. The token dropped from about $0.01475 to $0.01089 by July 20. That decline extended a prolonged downturn that left DADDY 95.4% below its all-time peak. Before the latest fall, the token had staged a brief recovery during 2026. DADDY stabilized above $0.006 after an early-year crash and later approached $0.03 in early July.
Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service said it had decided to bring further charges against both brothers. UK authorities also plan to seek their extradition from the United States. The CPS said Andrew Tate, 39, faces seven further rape counts and three counts connected to trafficking for sexual exploitation.
Prosecutors also charged him with three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm. Another 19 charges involve indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. Meanwhile, Tristan Tate, 38, faces one sexual assault count and two rape counts. He also faces three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The CPS said the alleged offences occurred between 2010 and 2017. Both brothers have denied wrongdoing in the British and Romanian cases. How much further pressure can DADDY face as the brothers’ legal cases expand?
Romanian authorities previously said they could not extradite the brothers to Britain until their domestic case ended. British prosecutors later learned that the brothers planned to travel to America. The Tates flew to Florida aboard a private jet in February 2025. The journey followed Romania’s decision to lift restrictions that had prevented them from leaving the country.
Romania’s foreign minister later said an official in the Trump administration had expressed interest in the brothers’ Romanian case. President Donald Trump said he knew nothing about the matter. Reporters had asked whether his administration pressured Romanian officials to release the brothers.
Attorney Joseph D McBride described the US arrest as a political action. He blamed a Justice Department official who allegedly lacked approval from senior leadership. McBride argued that a judge would release the brothers after reviewing the evidence. He also accused US authorities of carrying out Britain’s political work.

DADDY has spent most of its existence in a downtrend despite several brief rallies. The July sell-off erased part of the token’s recent recovery. The latest drop also followed reports that Andrew Tate lost money through several market positions during 2026. Those reported activities involved oil and Bitcoin.
Andrew Tate previously worked as a professional kickboxer. He has since built an audience of more than 10 million followers on X. YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram banned him after citing violations of their hate speech policies. He continues to operate an online academy aimed at young men.
The academy claims to teach its members how to build wealth and attract women. Andrew and Tristan Tate continue to deny all allegations against them. A stricter wire-service version could reduce the market commentary and place greater emphasis on the charges and extradition process.
DADDY coin’s 26% decline followed Andrew and Tristan Tate’s arrest in the United States and renewed UK extradition efforts. The drop extended the token’s long-term losses despite its brief July recovery. Investors should continue tracking legal developments and market volatility before making decisions involving the meme coin.
