Today’s puzzle offered a nice mix of familiar vocabulary and slightly deceptive clues. MANIA may have been the easiest for wrestling fans thanks to the WrestleMania reference. SINGE required thinking of a light burn rather than a serious one.
STOOL was a typical household item, whereas LOFTY might have posed a challenge since it hinted at both noble qualities and being very high. The repeated letters in SINGE and STOOL certainly created additional complexity.
In today’s Quordle, the winners were those who focused on interpreting the meanings of the clues rather than only looking at letter patterns. The repeated letters in two of the solutions certainly created a trap for anyone not paying close attention.
