Apple is reportedly planning another event after the September iPhone launch. This time it will probably focus more on Macs and iPads. Though there’s no official news, reports indicate the tech-giant will probably hold the program in October.
The products reportedly in the pipeline include an OLED iPad mini, new MacBooks and iMacs, Apple TV, HomePod mini, and the long-rumored smart home hub. However, Apple did not confirm the event or the products yet. While Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said most of these products are planned for later this year, latest reports suggest an October reveal.
The speculations aren’t baseless. Apple often reveals its new lineup in October, but every time, they are announced in press releases, not in keynote. The tech giant announced its M1 Pro and M1 Max MacBook Pro models in October 2021. Next, in 2024 and 2025 as well, Macs were announced during the October event. However, until Apple confirms, these are all rumors.

The reported launch comes at an interesting time for Apple. The company is working on a more capable version of Siri. Its new home products could give that assistant a bigger place in daily life.
Instead of using Siri only for simple questions, users could ask it to control smart devices, check information, or manage tasks. The screen on the reported Home Hub could make these actions easier to see and use.
This could let Apple connect several products through one system. The Apple TV could handle entertainment, while the HomePod mini could focus on audio. A Home Hub could bring controls and Siri together.
If the reports prove true, Apple’s next step could be less about one new device and more about building a connected home. The success of that plan may depend on how useful Siri becomes across these products.
