Apple officially launched the claims process for its USD 250 million class-action lawsuit settlement over delays in introducing Apple Intelligence features for Siri. In the United States, eligible iPhone owners can now file claims for payment, ranging from about USD 25 to USD 95 per device.
The case centers on allegations that Apple promoted a more capable version of Siri alongside Apple Intelligence but did not deliver some of the advertised features when expected.
This settlement applies to specified iPhone models sold in the US from June 10, 2024, to March 29, 2025. These iPhone models include: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Buyers must meet the settlement's purchase requirements, and simply owning one of the listed models is not enough. The settlement does not cover purchases made in India or other countries, as it applies only to qualifying US purchases.
Eligible customers can submit their claims through the official settlement website. The form requires personal and device information, including the serial number of the qualifying iPhone.
The serial number can be found by opening Settings > General > About on the device. Customers without the serial number can use alternative information requested by the claims process, including their Apple Account email address and the phone number associated with the device.
Some eligible users will also receive a claim ID and PIN by email. However, having that notification is not required to begin the claims process.

The settlement fund is worth USD 250 million, but eligible users should not assume they will automatically receive USD 95. The expected payment is about USD 25 per eligible device, but it could rise to USD 95 if fewer valid claims are submitted than anticipated.
Each eligible device requires its own claim, with only one payment available per qualifying phone. Payment options include electronic methods such as PayPal and Venmo, as well as direct deposit or a paper check.
The deadline to submit a claim is December 21, 2026. A final approval hearing is scheduled for February 24, 2027, so payments will not be immediate and could be delayed further if the settlement is appealed.
