Over 200,000 WordPress websites are at risk of hacking due to a vulnerability in the Ultimate Member plugin, as per WPScan.

The vulnerability affects the plugin's ability to create new user accounts, and could allow attackers to create accounts with administrative privileges.

This could give attackers full control over the compromised websites, including access to sensitive data of users.

Hackers are already abusing the vulnerability to get access to data.

The developers of the Ultimate Member plugin have released a new version 2.6.4 to prevent any potential hacking attacks, but the vulnerability remains exploitable.
