Survey Reveals ChatGPT's User Traffic Rate Declined in August
The artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT had a drop in user traffic globally for the third consecutive month in August.
According to sources, the number of visitors to the famous chatbot operated by OpenAI on desktop and mobile devices fell by 3.2% to 1.43 billion in August.
A 10% decline in traffic is anticipated to occur two months later. The time spent on the website is also thought to have decreased in August, from 8.7 minutes to about 7 minutes.
"Students looking for homework assistance appear to be a part of the story: the percentage of younger users of the website dropped over the summer and is now starting to rebound," Cointelegraph reported.
Furthermore, Cointelegraph concluded that the argument is predicted to be supported by a decline in viewership for the summer months of ChatGPT users in the 18-24 age group.
