Microsoft has announced a new policy that will protect its customers from potential legal challenges arising from the use of AI tools and services.

The policy, called the "AI Co-Creation Promise", states that Microsoft will defend its customers from any claims of intellectual property.

The use of Microsoft's AI tools and services, such as Azure, Cognitive Services, Power Platform, etc.

Microsoft will not assert any IP rights over the co-created AI outputs that are generated by its customers using Microsoft's AI tools and services.

The policy is also intended to encourage innovation and collaboration among Microsoft's customers and partners in the AI domain.
