Microsoft is testing out a novel default appearance for Office apps
Microsoft started experimenting with a new default appearance for its selection of Office programs.
This theme will start out as the default for all Microsoft 365 members.
This new default Office theme includes the cutting-edge Aptos font, new default line weights, updated styles, and a new color scheme.
Microsoft will replace the yellow color in the palette with a dark green variation.
The Aptos font is slated to take over as the standard for programs like Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
