The feature will warn drivers in advance, before they reach the crash-prone section of the route, so they can plan ahead and drive more cautiously
The feature will not show as many alerts on roads that drivers regularly navigate, to avoid distraction and annoyance
The feature aims to improve road safety and prevent car accidents, which are a major cause of death globally and in the US
