Bing Chat, powered by OpenAI tech, is now enabled on Chrome and Safari
Microsoft's Bing Chat is no longer limited to the Edge browser; it is now available on Chrome and Safari as well.
As part of our testing on additional browsers, we are giving select users access to Bing Chat in Safari and Chrome.
You must be logged in to your Microsoft account, and prompts are limited to 2,000 characters, vs 4,000 on Edge.
Bing Chat is powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT-4, granting users free access to the latter's functionalities. 1
Bing Chat has access to Bing Search, which ChatGPT-4 does not, it may give more up-to-date information and sources for answers.
