Australia Intends to Reform Cyber Security Regulations and Establish an Agency.
On Monday, the Australian government announced plans to overhaul its cyber security rules and establish an agency to oversee government investment.
The move follows an increase in cyber-attacks since late last year, with at least eight companies reporting breaches.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that current cyber security rules, government policies, and regulations "are simply not at the level that we require."
