Zoho Corporation introduced a new visual teamwork platform, Vani, on October 1, 2025. Described as an all-in-one, AI-driven tool, Vani is designed to help modern teams plan and execute their tasks more efficiently. This launch follows the massive success of its messaging application, Arattai, and represents Zoho's continued effort to improve productivity tools suited for hybrid and remote work environments.

Vani operates as a unified visual workspace where teams can brainstorm, organize ideas, and collaborate on projects. In contrast to other older collaboration tools that emphasized chat and document sharing, it focuses on the visual thinking process, featuring digital canvases, sketching diagrams, building workflows, and hosting video discussions all within the same environment.

A Visual-First Platform Designed for Modern Teams

Zoho stated that today’s teams face challenges because ideas often remain abstract or scattered across different applications. According to research cited by the company, more than 60% of Gen X and Millennial employees prefer to collaborate visually (through diagrams and videos) rather than through text.

Vani bridges this gap by transforming abstract ideas into structured visuals. It includes tools such as whiteboards, mind maps, sticky notes, and diagrams. The AI features of the platform can create flowcharts and other visual elements in real-time, saving time on configuration and enabling users to reach implementation as quickly as possible.

Flow provides the platform with a history of how the discussion has developed, enabling members to track past conversations and contribute asynchronously at their convenience. It also includes built-in video calls, voice notes, emoji feedback, and contextual observations that make collaboration easy and ensure communication remains clear and organized in a shared workspace.

Execution Tools, Pricing Model, and Target Users

Besides brainstorming, Vani allows its users to turn ideas into action. Teams can create database tables, automate business processes, and monitor deliverables all within a single application. Pre-built templates and toolkits help users start projects more quickly, and the ability to connect with the rest of the Zoho ecosystem offers seamless software integration switching.

Vani is offered on a free premium basis. It is free for individuals and small groups, but larger organisations have the option of a paid plan at Rs. 240 per team member per month, which is charged annually. It also offers a 30-day free trial period with no credit card required.

The platform is designed for use across various scenarios, including when marketing teams plan campaigns, product teams build roadmaps, design teams create prototypes, and engineering teams map system workflows. Every team has an opportunity to organize their work with the help of Spaces on shared projects and Zones on personal canvases.

Zoho's launch of Vani highlights the company's ongoing efforts to expand its digital ecosystem and strengthen its competitive edge against global platforms like Google Workspace. As demand for visual and collaborative tools grows in India's rapidly evolving digital workspace market, the company expects Vani to follow in Arattai's successful footsteps.
