In May, the monthly active users of OpenAI’s ChatGPT in Korea showed a 30% monthly growth, surpassing the one-million user mark for the first time as the popularity of the artificial intelligence chatbot continues to rise. Not since its inception has the number of users in the country embraced the ChatGPT beyond 1 million. The mobile ChatGPT app saw a surge to 1.27 million users in May, a significant jump from 980,000 in April, as per the market data analysis company IGAWorks. South Koreans have collectively spent 739,000 hours in May engaging with ChatGPT, marking a 55.8 percent increase from April's total of 474,000 hours. The number of new ChatGPT installations saw a rise of 47.9 percent month-over-month to 404,000 in May.

Most recently, in the statement by HPCL about the state-owned entity, it they said that the various selection processes would employ computer-based tests, group tasks, and personal interviews based on the positions available.
