Oppo confirmed a global launch for Find X10 Pro Max, marking its first Pro Max flagship. The phone will debut in China on September 22, while international markets may follow in October.
Oppo targets Apple and Samsung at the premium end, using aggressive camera hardware and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro. The strategy signals a bigger push beyond offering cheaper alternatives in crowded flagship markets.
The Find X10 Pro Max will become Oppo’s new top model after the company drops Ultra and Pro successors. Oppo has confirmed international availability but has not provided any clarity on specific markets. The UK and Europe appear likely targets, while the United States remains uncertain. India could also receive the flagship later this year.
Camera technology anchors Oppo’s new flagship strategy, with three 200MP rear sensors expected across major shooting roles. Recent reports also point to Hasselblad imaging hardware and Oppo’s second-generation Danxia color system. The combination could strengthen Oppo’s photography pitch against Apple and Samsung in the premium segment.
The phone could also carry an 8,000mAh battery, creating a major endurance advantage over premium rivals. A 6.8-inch-class 2K LTPO OLED display could add a high-refresh experience for gaming and media. Up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage would further support its premium positioning.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro adds another important part to Oppo’s flagship strategy this year. The 2nm chip targets higher efficiency alongside stronger performance for demanding applications and on-device AI workloads. Oppo claims a 61% improvement in CPU multi-core energy efficiency for sustained flagship performance.
The biggest test will come from execution, especially across three 200MP cameras and the large battery. Oppo must deliver consistent colors, strong HDR, stabilization, and natural skin tones across lenses.
The company also needs polished software and dependable support across global markets. Oppo says the Dimensity platform provides a ‘stronger foundation for sustained flagship performance’ and growing AI workloads. Pricing, availability, and real-world results will decide whether the Pro Max becomes a true premium rival.
