Oppo unveiled its A7 Pro in China with a large 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz OLED display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. The smartphone will go on sale in China on September 11. The company has not yet announced its India launch or pricing.
The Oppo A7 Pro starts at CNY 2,199 for the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM model with 256GB storage costs CNY 2,499. These prices translate to roughly Rs. 27,000 and Rs. 31,000, respectively, although Indian pricing could differ if Oppo brings the phone to the country.
The A7 Pro features a 6.57-inch flexible OLED display with a 2,372 × 1,080-pixel resolution. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 10-bit colour depth. It can also reach up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness.
The phone will be available in China from September 11. Oppo is yet to confirm availability in other markets.
Battery capacity is one of the A7 Pro's key highlights. It packs an 8,000mAh battery, while the rated capacity stands at 7,820mAh. The phone supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging and 45W UFCS charging.
Oppo says the battery is designed for long-term durability. The company also boasts of around seven years of use under specified charging conditions while retaining at least 80% capacity.
