Analytics Insight has published its Cryptocurrency Market Report for February 2026. The extensive report highlights how the crypto market entered a stabilization phase in February, with Bitcoin successfully defending the $68,800 Fibonacci retracement level following January's broad liquidation event. Funding rates also normalized, leveraged positioning retreated, and most major assets transitioned from impulsive declines to range-bound consolidation.
Bitcoin (BTC): Ranged between $68,000 and $74,000; cycle low hit near $62,500; 50-day EMA resistance at $74,378
Ethereum (ETH): Consolidated between $2,050 and $2,200; remains below 50-day EMA at $2,289
XRP: Based between $1.25 and $1.45 after retreating from the $2.00 level earlier in the year
Solana (SOL): Stabilized between $80 and $92 following a decline from the $150 to $160 region
Cardano (ADA): Consolidated in a $0.25 to $0.30 range after dropping toward the $0.22 demand zone
Hyperliquid (HYPE): Only asset to show early recovery momentum, breaking out of a falling wedge and advancing to the $31 to $32 range from a cycle low of $20 to $21
The report identifies Bitcoin's ability to reclaim the $74,000 to $78,000 zone as the critical near-term catalyst for broader market recovery. Until BTC clears this overhead supply and establishes higher highs, altcoin recovery attempts are expected to remain constrained.
Ethereum must break the descending channel resistance near $2,289 to signal structural repair. For speculative assets such as Dogecoin and Pepe, renewed speculative liquidity will be required before either can exceed its current resistance levels of $0.105 and $0.0000042, respectively.
Institutional ETF participation and macroeconomic conditions, including global liquidity trends and interest rate expectations, are cited as additional variables that will influence market direction in March.
