Artificial Intelligence is now crucial in navigating a complex global trading environment. As trade policies and geopolitical issues evolve, companies rely on AI for stability in their supply chains. Agentic AI stands out by facilitating autonomous decision-making while keeping humans at the center of trading processes.
In the latest episode of Analytics Insight Podcast, host Priya Dialani talks to Sunil Kharbanda, Founder and COO of Trezix, about Agentic AI and how it is changing global trade to be more resilient, transparent and efficient.
Priya starts the discussion by highlighting how organizations are going beyond conventional automation. “Leaders aren’t just implementing AI tools,” she notes, “They’re pioneering new operating models around autonomous decision-making.”
Sunil agrees and mentions that the global trade ecosystem has always been complex. However, the requirement of simplicity and visibility is now felt. “This business will always have a human in the loop,” he explains, “Wherever there are regulatory compliances, you will need human validation. Agentic AI will gather data from multiple sources and create an intelligent pod for humans to take the next level of decisions.”
Trezix, as Sunil describes, is a platform that “orchestrates global trade, helping importers and exporters execute their processes digitally while ensuring all stakeholders work on a single source of truth.”
He adds, “We felt import-export never had a line of digitization. It was so fragmented that importers and exporters were losing sleep over compliance, visibility, and credibility across borders.” Trezix bridges this gap by digitizing every stage of the trade process to achieve greater control, cost efficiency, and transparency.
One of its key innovations, EasyComply, uses Agentic AI to simplify import decisions. “With Agentic AI, you just bring the end outcome in front of the user and say, ‘Take a buying decision.’ This makes both the system and the human smarter,” the COO of the company says.
Agentic AI, according to Sunil Kharbanda, impacts every business fundamental, from landed cost and time to market to profitability and cash flow. “Every fundamental of the business is being touched when decision-making becomes faster and more accurate,” he explains.
The episode not only presents the shift as a trend towards automation but also views it more creatively through the lens of collaboration, trust, and innovation across the world. Agentic AI represents the next chapter in global trade, where intelligence and human expertise move forward together.
