
Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 has officially launched in India, offering an affordable option in the tablet market. Redmi Pad 2 is designed for entertainment, productivity, and AI. The tablet features an 11-inch 2.5K display and is powered by the ultra-efficient MediaTek Helio G100 chip.
Additionally, it comes with HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15, making it the first tablet in India to include Google's Circle to Search function.
Redmi Pad 2 sports an 11-inch LCD with a pixel resolution of 2,560x1,600, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. The display is capable of supporting 10-bit color depth and is TÜV Rheinland Eye Safety certified, and also touch-responsive.
Sporting a thin 7.36mm body and weighing in at only 510g, the device comes in blue and grey colors, making it a perfect portable companion.
Under the hood, the tablet runs on the MediaTek 6nm Helio G100-Ultra processor. It runs on configurations of up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Redmi Pad 2 operates on Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15, and with Google's Gemini AI. The device supports Circle to Search, which allows for better search and discovery directly on the screen.
8MP rear and 5MP front camera setups are available in Redmi Pad 2 for casual photography and conferencing. A quad-speaker system setup with Dolby Atmos enhances the audio experience. It houses a 9,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Connectivity options include almost every wireless option, dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE on some models, Bluetooth, plus USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi Pad 2 starts at Rs. 13,999 in India for the 4GB + 128GB Wi-Fi-only variant. The 6GB + 128GB 4G variant is priced at Rs. 15,999, while the 8GB + 256GB comes in at Rs. 17,999. Sales begin on 24 June through Mi.com, Amazon India, and offline outlets.
