Samsung has recently launched a quirky teaser showcasing its foldable smartphones. Instead of displaying the flagship, the company has released a series of short videos featuring a pizza slice, a chocolate bar, a puzzle, dalgona candy, and the Taj Mahal.

The campaign comes ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung is expected to unveil its new Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones.

Everyday Objects Replace Product Renders

The videos show everyday objects like pizza, chocolate, puzzles, and the Taj Mahal being reshaped from tall and narrow forms into shorter, wider shapes, suggesting a redesigned wider foldable display. The campaign notably avoids showing any part of the upcoming smartphones themselves.

This suggests Samsung's shift away from its previous Galaxy Z Fold models with narrow and tall displays. The inclusion of the Taj Mahal appears to be part of Samsung's global visual storytelling rather than a confirmation of any India-specific feature or announcement.

Focus Appears to Be on the Design

The teaser campaign has triggered speculation online, with many expecting Samsung to introduce a slimmer design, a redesigned hinge, or a wider outer display. The company has not confirmed any of these details.

Unlike previous launch campaigns that highlighted new features early, Samsung has chosen to deliberately keep this update vague. The emphasis is on the experience and design, rather than the hardware.

Launch Expected at Galaxy Unpacked

Samsung is expected to widely introduce the next Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip models during Galaxy Unpacked. Apart from design enhancements, Samsung's upcoming foldables are also expected to have enhanced durability, screen quality, and Galaxy AI.

This announcement also happens at a time when the competition in the foldable segment is only getting stiffer. Smartphone manufacturers, especially Chinese brands, have been rolling out thinner and lightweight foldables.

While the teaser don’t reveal any product details, they people talking before the official launch on Galaxy Unpacked.
