Seven years after Galaxy M40’s launch in 2019, Samsung has returned with Galaxy M47 5G in India. The new smartphone adds to the brand’s mid-range M-series lineup that caters to consumers who value performance, gaming, battery life, and long-term software support.

The 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ in Galaxy M47.
The M47 model features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with a 4nm processor and LPDDR5X RAM to enhance data processing and reduce lag when many apps run simultaneously. UFS 3.1. Bypass Charging is a specific feature designed to reduce the temperature during long gaming sessions.
When plugged into the charger, the phone uses the charger's power instead of the battery to run the processor. This ensures the battery is never overloaded.
The battery has a 6,000mAh capacity, which is noticeably large for the price range. It also supports 45W fast charging (the charging brick is offered separately).

With a bank discount and coupon, Samsung Galaxy M47 5G's effective starting price is Rs. 22,999. Pricing by variant has not yet been made public. It comes in two colors: Blaze Blue and Rogue Red with a matte texture. The phone will go on sale on Amazon starting July 4th, coinciding with Amazon Prime Day.
