A reported compromise of Kylie Jenner’s X account sent traders toward a Solana meme coin called Kylie, which briefly reached $1.19 million in market value. The token then fell about 68% after the posts disappeared, while copycat coins quickly appeared across Solana. Jenner’s account has 39.5 million followers.
The account first posted a casual message about trading and then directed followers to a Pump.fun profile named cutekjenner. A second post shared the kylie ticker and a Solana contract address. The two posts drew about 50,000 and 33,000 views before they disappeared. Community accounts flagged the sudden change in tone as a possible sign that someone had compromised the account.
According to GeckoTerminal data cited in the supplied information, kylie reached a $1.19 million market capitalization on PumpSwap. At press time, its market value stood near $378,500 after the sharp decline.
The token also recorded $6.1 million in 24-hour trading volume. Liquidity stood near $58,900, while roughly 3,700 holders still held the asset.
The deleted posts also left several Kylie-themed imitators trading on Solana. Most were only a few hours old, and their market values varied widely. One rival Kylie token used the same profile image and reached a $1.04 million market cap. It generated $6.72 million in trading volume, while others ranged from $29,800 to $370,300.
None of those rival tokens had traded for more than seven hours at the time of writing. How quickly can traders verify authenticity when a celebrity account suddenly posts a token contract? The episode follows several recent account takeovers linked to meme coins. Attackers used the SpaceX and Starlink accounts in July to promote SCATMAN and netted about $125,000.

Later that month, an attacker compromised Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev’s account and cleared roughly $1.2 million through Vladhood. Senator Cynthia Lummis’ compromised account later promoted a fake USA token.
Actor Dean Norris also rejected links to a DEAN coin after his account promoted the token in January 2025. These incidents used prominent social accounts to direct attention toward newly created cryptocurrencies.
The reported Kylie Jenner X compromise briefly pushed Kylie to a $1.19 million market cap before the token fell about 68%. Copycat tokens then appeared across Solana. The episode follows other account takeovers tied to meme coins, making source verification important before traders act on social media promotions.
