The Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition will launch in India on September 21 along with the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition. Realme is working with Warner Bros. for the special release, but reports say the buds will have no extra features apart from the outer design of the buds. The earbuds have been shown in a brown finish, while the retail box is expected to carry a Hogwarts theme.
At this point, the official price of the buds is still unknown. Realme did not announce whether it will cost the same as the original one or the Harry Potter version will be a bit costlier. The regular Buds T500 Pro costs Rs. 2,799. The special edition is expected to keep the same price.
Additionally, the special edition will probably bring 12.4mm drivers, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, LHDC 5.0, and 50dB active noise cancellation. The earbuds also have six microphones, Bluetooth 6.1, and support for three devices at the same time.
The earbuds offer latency as low as 45ms and up to 56 hours of playback with the case. Each earbud comes with a 62mAh battery. The charging case has a 530mAh battery. An IP55 rating also gives the earbuds protection against dust and water.
The Harry Potter edition gives Realme a fresh way to sell an existing audio product. The main hardware stays the same, while the new look adds a fan-focused touch. The brown design and Hogwarts-themed packaging could make the earbuds feel more like a collector item than a regular pair of TWS earbuds.
The special edition could attract current T500 Pro buyers who want a different design. It may also appeal to Harry Potter fans who want the theme on an everyday gadget. Younger buyers could be another key audience. Themed products can make common devices feel more personal and fun.
The Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition keeps the features of the regular model while adding a strong Harry Potter theme. Its appeal will largely come down to how much buyers value the special design.
