Realme is adding some Harry Potter magic to its smartphone range. The company teamed up with Warner Bros. Discovery for a special Harry Potter Edition of the Realme 16 Pro 5G. This is the second time Warner Bros. collaborated with Realme, after the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition.
The limited edition Realme 16 Pro will feature Harry Potter-inspired design touches, where the familiar wizarding world will turn into a smartphone experience, while keeping the traditional Realme design intact. The smartphone maker is combining the franchise’s visual identity with everyday technology to target die-hard Potter fans. A special Realme x Harry Potter logo will also be there as part of the collaboration.
The special edition will be based on the regular Realme 16 Pro 5G. It will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chip and offers up to 12GB of RAM.
Along with these, the limited-edition phones will also get a 200MP main camera and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging. Notably, the price is yet to be announced. The Harry Potter theme is the main attraction here. Realme wants the special edition to feel different from the standard phone. Fans can expect themed design details and branding linked to the wizarding world.

Harry Potter fans may want the special edition for its unique look and themed details. However, for regular buyers, the themed model doesn’t really mean a lot. Die-hard Harry Potter fans and collectors are the target audience of the collaboration, and for others, the regular 16 Pro 5G may make more sense.
The hardware is the same for both models, only the appearance changes if one buys the themed edition. Whether the newer edition will bring some new features or not is still unknown. Thus, only fans of the Harry Potter series will enjoy the limited edition thoroughly, others can easily go for the regular models, considering the price.
