Realme has confirmed various specifications for Realme 16 Pro Plus, ahead of its launch in India on January 6. This smartphone is a premium mid-range device featuring high-end cameras, impressive battery life, and enhanced durability.
Realme 16 Pro Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a mid-range chip. The mobile phone offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, positioning it as one of the best devices in its segment.
The cameras’ capabilities are also noteworthy. The upcoming phone has a triple-camera set-up, featuring a 200MP periscope camera. Although the specifications of the other cameras have not been revealed, they are optimized for portrait mode and offer 1x, 3.5x, and 10x zoom. A Luma color algorithm is also introduced for enhanced colors.
The smartphone features a 7,000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging. According to Realme, the battery is built using silicon-carbon technology, which promises to pack more power into the same-sized handset.

Realme 16 Pro Plus features a curved screen with a peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use. The screen is also Netflix HDR certified and supports a touch sampling rate of 2,500Hz.
The smartphone is available in Camellia Pink, Master Grey, and Master Gold colors. It sports a flat design with minimal branding, making it sleek and arched. Realme has also confirmed that the device is dust- and water-resistant, with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications. It can also resist temperatures up to 80°C.
The mobile phone comes equipped with Realme UI 7.0, built on Android 16, with 3 years of Android OS upgrades and 4 years of security upgrades. Tagged at an approximate price of Rs. 35,000, Realme 16 Pro Plus is ready to challenge other mobile phones in the high mid-range category in India.
