

Phantom Blade Zero, the upcoming wuxia action game from Chinese developer S-Game, is set to receive a dedicated gameplay showcase at Sony’s next State of Play presentation. The event will take place on August 17 and will offer nearly 20 minutes of new gameplay from the highly anticipated action title.
The game has also opened pre-orders on PS5 and PC following the release of a new extended trailer on Tuesday.
S-Game will present nearly 20 minutes of Phantom Blade Zero gameplay during the State of Play broadcast. The presentation will air on August 17 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET, which translates to 7:30 AM IST on August 18 in India.
The showcase will be available through PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch channels. It is expected to provide a deeper look at the game’s gameplay systems, dynamic combat, and its dark Wuxia setting, known as the Phantom World.
The presentation will also introduce new characters and explain custom builds that players can use to suit their preferred playstyle.
Phantom Blade Zero received an 11-minute pre-order trailer on Tuesday, showcasing fast-paced melee combat, elaborate action sequences and a boss fight taking place on top of a speeding wagon.
The trailer also confirmed that Hong Kong actor and martial artist Donnie Yen has served as a creative consultant on the game since 2023. According to S-Game, Yen contributed his martial arts and action filmmaking expertise to the combat design to help deliver an ‘authentic kung-fu experience.’
Players can now pre-order Phantom Blade Zero through the PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Phantom Blade Zero will launch on PS5 and PC on October 29, 2026. In India, the game is available in Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, priced at $59.99 and $69.99 respectively.
Players who pre-order will unlock the Treasure Basin accessory and the Legacy outfit early. Both items can also be obtained through in-game progression.
With the upcoming State of Play presentation, S-Game is preparing to give players a much closer look at the combat, characters, builds and world ahead of the October 29 launch.
