Motorola has launched its new Razr Fold series in India, strengthening the company’s presence in the premium foldable smartphone segment.
The latest lineup includes high-end foldable smartphones with upgraded displays, flagship processors, AI-powered features, and advanced camera systems. The launch puts Motorola in direct competition with foldable devices from Samsung and other premium smartphone makers operating in India.
The top-end Razr Fold model features an 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6,200 nits. The 6.6-inch outer display supports refresh rates up to 165Hz. Motorola has also added Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protection on the outer screen to improve durability.
The latest smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 16-based Hello UI. Motorola has assured that the foldable smartphone will receive up to seven years of Android and security updates.
Razr Fold comes with a triple-camera module featuring Sony 50MP sensors on the back. The phone can capture 8K-resolution videos and also offers artificial intelligence-powered photography and editing software.
Razr Fold has a 6,000mAh battery that supports TurboPower 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. According to Motorola, this battery is meant to enable heavy multitasking and media usage on foldable screens.
The Razr Fold lineup has been boosted in productivity through artificial intelligence-powered multitasking, voice assistants, and image processing.

The starting price of the Razr Fold lineup in India is approximately Rs. 1,49,999. There are premium editions of the Razr Fold that will cost around Rs. 1,69,999. Motorola has also launched a special FIFA edition, featuring a football-textured design and a gold-plated logo.
These phones will soon be available at Motorola India's authorized sales channels, retail stores, and on Flipkart.
