Motorola will launch the Moto G Max in India on August 14, 2026, targeting battery-focused smartphone buyers. The company will unveil the phone at 12 PM IST during an official launch event. Sales will begin through Motorola’s website, Flipkart, and selected offline stores after launch.
Motorola has positioned the device around long battery life, strong everyday performance, and durable hardware. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset will power the phone alongside LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto G Max will feature a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 30W wired charging support. Motorola claims the battery can deliver up to three days of usage under suitable conditions.
The company will offer 6GB RAM with 256GB storage, while other configurations could appear later. The smartphone will also feature a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its display can reach 1,050 nits under high brightness mode.
For photography, the Moto G Max will carry a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS. An 8MP ultrawide camera will handle wider shots, while a 32MP camera will manage selfies. Motorola will also include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone will run Android 16 from launch, with two major OS upgrades and three years of security updates. Its IP64 rating adds protection against dust and water splashes. Motorola will sell the Moto G Max in Pantone Alaskan Blue, Malaga, and Stargazer finishes.
Pricing remains unconfirmed, keeping the August 14 event important for final availability details.
