Flipkart’s Freedom Day Sale is set to begin on August 8, bringing discounts across smartphones, tablets, laptops and other electronics. Ahead of the sale, the e-commerce platform has revealed price cuts on several popular smartphones from brands including Nothing and Motorola, with some devices expected to receive discounts of up to Rs 10,000. Eligible SBI credit card users will also be able to avail an additional 10% instant discount on select purchases.
Among the biggest attractions of the upcoming sale is the Nothing Phone 4(a), which is expected to be available at a significantly reduced price. Motorola’s Edge 70 series and the Razr Fold are also part of the promotional offers, alongside other devices across different price segments.
Flipkart has teased discounts of up to Rs 10,000 on select smartphones, making the Freedom Day Sale one of the biggest opportunities this season for buyers planning an upgrade.
While exact effective prices will vary depending on bank offers and exchange bonuses, the platform has already confirmed that multiple premium and mid-range models will receive price cuts.
The Freedom Day Sale will open for all customers on August 8, while Flipkart Plus, Flipkart Black members and Flipkart Credit Card holders will receive early access from August 7.
Besides the promotional discounts being offered, SBI credit card holders can avail themselves of an extra offer of a 10 percent instant discount, which will reduce the final cost of the purchase of the respective products.
Besides smartphones, there will be offers on tablets, laptops, smart TVs, home appliances, and other consumer electronics in this sale. Flipkart will launch product-specific discounts and time-limited offers as the day of the sale approaches.
Those consumers who want to buy a new phone should list the products on their wishlist beforehand and check the exchange value and bank offers before making the purchase decision.
