Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, could offer more StandBy features than those shown during its launch event. A new leak suggests Apple is developing five additional StandBy faces designed for the phone’s dual-display form factor.
Apple launched the iPhone Duo earlier this month alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. While the non-foldable models are already available, the foldable iPhone is scheduled to go on sale next month.
According to leaker @pdfu on X, strings found in iOS 27.1 and additional testing through the iPhone Duo simulator point to five previously unreported StandBy faces. These are called Home Camera, Home Modular, Flow, Fade, and Snoopy.
The Home Camera option appears focused on smart home monitoring. It could display either a single camera feed or a grid with up to nine camera feeds, potentially letting the iPhone Duo work as a smart home display in StandBy mode.
Home Modular could provide access to Home accessories and controls, although the leak does not reveal its exact interface or functionality.
Flow is described in the code as “ResponsiveArt” and could feature animated or responsive artwork. There is currently little information about Fade. Snoopy, meanwhile, could use Apple’s popular cartoon character in a design similar to the Snoopy experience available elsewhere in Apple’s software ecosystem.

The leak also provides details about customization for existing StandBy faces, including Analog, Digital, Classic Calendar, Weather, Photos, Memories and Shared Albums.
According to @pdfu, the Analog, Digital, and Classic Calendar faces could offer a customization interface similar to the Apple Watch face editor. Users may be able to swipe between settings and scroll through options.
The Analog Clock reportedly supports style, color and two widget slots, along with Arabic, Western/Arabic, Eastern and Devanagari numeral styles. The Digital Clock could offer font, color and three widget slots, with five layouts: StandBy, Stacked, Top, Middle and Bottom.
The Classic Calendar face is said to support style, font and color options, while its Date style includes one widget slot.
The leaker noted that the iPhone Duo simulator currently lacks a widget registry, meaning the full range of widget options could not be explored. The Rushmore app, reportedly intended to host the redesigned faces, was also missing from the iOS 27.1 simulator during testing.
