Google may soon add another wearable in its Fitbit lineup. After the launch of display-less Fitbit Air, the tech giant is reportedly working on a mid-range product that will fit between Fitbit Air and the premium products. The rumored, Fitbit Edge, will probably have an oval shape and several features the latest model missed.
Leaked details suggest that it could come with an oval AMOLED screen, GPS and up to seven days of battery life. It will likely feature an AMOLED panel with support for app and call notifications. It could also support Google Maps, YouTube Music, music controls and Find My Phone. Regarding the health tracking side, the wearable will support 24/7 heart-rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring and skin-temperature measurements. It may work with Google Health Premium as well.
Google hasn’t confirmed any details. So, all these are currently rumors without any solid base. However, the speculated price of the wearable will be somewhere around USD 149 to USD 199. This could put the Indian price at around Rs. 14,344 to Rs. 19, 157. The device may launch by the end of October, possibly before Diwali. Note that none of this information has yet been confirmed.

These three Google devices could serve very different needs. Fitbit Air is aimed at people who want simple health tracking without a screen. It can run for up to a week and keeps things basic.
The Fitbit Edge could be for people who want a screen and GPS but still care about long battery life. The Pixel Watch sits higher in the range. It offers more smartwatch features for users who want apps and more things on their wrist.
Precisely, the Edge may appeal to people who find Fitbit Air too simple but do not need everything offered by the Pixel Watch. For Google, that may be the biggest reason to launch the Edge. Users could pick a wearable based on what they actually need instead of paying for features they may never use.
