Google's screen-free fitness tracker, the Fitbit Air, has appeared on Flipkart ahead of its official India launch. The listing puts the price at Rs. 13,999, though the page still marks the device as 'Coming Soon.' Google has said the tracker will reach India in October, but it has not yet confirmed the final price or exact launch date.
Tipster Sanju Choudhary earlier hinted that the Fitbit Air could launch in India on October 2. The leak also pointed to a price range between Rs. 12,999 to Rs. 13,999, which lines up closely with what Flipkart is now showing. This gives buyers a fairly clear idea of what to expect, even though nothing is official yet.
The Fitbit Air breaks away from regular smartwatches by dropping the display altogether. Weighing just 12 grams, it works quietly in the background, tracking health data that users can check later on the Google Health app. It carries a heart-rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, a skin-temperature sensor, and motion sensors to track movement.

The device can measure heart rate, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep stages, steps, calories burned, distance covered, and cardio load. It also recognizes workouts on its own and supports more than 40 exercise modes, so users don't need to manually start tracking every time.
Battery life is one of its strong points. Google says the tracker can last up to seven days on a single charge, and just five minutes of charging is enough for a full day's use. It also comes with 5 ATM water resistance, so it can handle swimming and daily splashes. The tracker connects to both Android and iOS phones through Bluetooth Low Energy.
The Fitbit Air first went on sale globally in May, starting at USD 99.99. With its India launch approaching, Google is aiming to offer a simpler, screen-free option for people who want to track their health without wearing a full smartwatch. Whether it appeals to buyers will depend on the final price and how well it performs in daily use.
