Elon Musk has shared an exciting update on X about the upcoming changes across all Grok platforms, including the main app. He announced that a new Grok text-to-video generator will be launched in October.
Users will now be able to create high-quality videos simply by describing the video content in words. However, the prompts will have to be clear and detailed to achieve the desired outcomes. Grok will use the Imagine feature, a powerful image generator powered by Aurora, to create these videos. Aurora is the image generation model currently used at Grok.
Grok is offering early access to all Super Grok AI subscribers. This subscription can be bought for $30 a month. Interested users can join the waiting list and get early access. The plan also comes with other exciting features and upgrades like voice chat, conversational AI, and image generation.
It is important to note that access to the Grok platform itself requires an X Premium+ subscription, as Grok is part of the tools and features included with this membership.

Grok has made interactions with its AI more engaging by launching customizable AI companions. These companions will talk back to the person as if they were a real-life human. Initially, users will only be able to access three AI companions: Valentine, a romantic character; Ani, an anime character; and Rudy, a cute red panda. These characters will interact with users for both text and voice prompts. What’s impressive is that their personalities and tones change based on the conversations.
