Apple is ready to integrate Apple Intelligence into its Vision Pro headset as part of the visionOS 2.4 update and it could arrive as early as April, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The update is expected to bring advanced AI-powered features, enhancing the overall user experience of Apple’s high-end mixed reality device.

Apple Intelligence was first introduced in June 2024 and has since been available on iPhones, iPads and Mac devices. The latest update marks the first time Apple is extending its AI capabilities to the Vision Pro. Some of the anticipated features include Writing Tools, Genmoji and Image Playground, providing users with creative and productivity-enhancing tools.

The Vision Pro, which was launched for $3,500, is equipped with an M2 chipset and 16GB of RAM, making it well-suited for AI-powered functionalities. However, reports suggest that the first phase of Apple Intelligence integration will not include an upgraded Siri. Engineering challenges and software bugs have reportedly delayed improvements to Siri’s capabilities on the Vision Pro and other Apple devices.
