Over the last few weeks, Twitter and Meta have caught headlines with the shocking tech layoffs. Many employees of these big techs got affected by this and have chosen social platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter to express their anger with the sudden sacking and the impact it has had on their lives. While many of these employees are dealing with sudden distress, one Indian company known as Dream11 has stepped up to be their ray of sunshine.
Dream11 co-founder Harish Jain took to Twitter and announced that he was ready to help Indian Techies who became the victim of these massive tech layoffs. "With all the 2022 Tech layoffs which exceed the number of 52,000 in the US, please spread the word to remind Indians to come back home, especially those who are facing visa issues to help Indian Tech realize our hyper-growth potential in the next decade!" mentioned Jain. Dream11 Co-Founder offers jobs to Indian techies who lost their jobs following the massive layoffs at Twitter and Meta. He promises that his company Dream11 was doing really well. Dream11 Co-Founder's tweet was appreciated by many. However, many Twitter users stated why Indians are not keen on coming back to the country for work.
To guarantee stability to those who are interested, the Dream11 co-founder assured that the company was profitable and financially stable. He added, "If you or someone you know fits the above, feel free to reach out to us at indiareturns@dreamsports.group. We @DreamSportsHQ are a profitable, US$8 Billion Co with 150 million+ users and 10 kickass portfolio companies." Jain's tweets appeared as a ray of hope for many. "Thank you for continuing to fuel the India growth story. Gives us the optimism and hope to come back and not live under the cloud of uncertainty and insecurity," wrote one user of Twitter.
Another shared, "This issue should be highlighted. If even 50% of the techies from foreign countries come back to India, then it can boost India's tech industry." But some said why Indians abroad would not want to come back to the country. "Come back to what? Poor roads, bad law, and order, 0 infrastructure? People will rather take a pay cut than see their tax money fund the politicians' pockets," asked one Twitter user.
